As a citizen of both German and France, my language and culture have been intertwined since my earliest childhood. And it was always clear that my professional life would also develop in the German-French area. So I feel very fortunate that in my consultancy work I can give clients an understanding of both the legal and cultural aspects of the neighbouring country. With my knowledge of both countries and their laws, it is easier to ensure that our clients also appreciate (and in particular accept) the special features of the neighbouring country. Cross-border M&A transactions often require both legal consulting as well as a detailed explanation of the mentality of the business partner. This helps to ensure that the process runs smoothly and that an agreement can be worked out constructively during negotiations. In addition to M&A transactions, I provide consulting services on day-to-day issues of German and French corporate law.
