Qivive expands its Arbitration department in Cologne and Paris
Dr. Christiane Lenz is leaving one of the most prestigious arbitration firms to join Qivive and thus strengthens the arbitration law team with Edith Aupetit.
On 1 February 2020, Dr. Christiane Lenz joined the arbitration and litigation team. She left the arbitration law firm Boris Hennecke Kniesel to join the law firm Qivive and thus reinforce the team of Edith Aupetit, who herself had left Cleary Gottlieb Stehen & Hamilton Paris (arbitration proceedings) in 2014 to join us and who now heads the arbitration department.
Dr. Christiane Lenz studied German and French law in Potsdam and Paris and works in addition to her profession as a lawyer as coordinator of the “Find an Expert” project which was co-financed by the European Commission and directed by the European Expertise and Expert Institute.
Managing Partner Dr. Christophe Kühl provides further incite and explains: “With Christiane Lenz, we have gained a colleague who will help our firm to make further progress in arbitration law. We are one of the very few law firms with a team of attorneys admitted to practice in France and Germany who can conduct arbitration proceedings in three languages (German, French, English).“
