New addition to the Cologne-based contract and litigation law team

In October 2024, Tobias Brünker joined our Cologne team as a further dedicated lawyer with a strong international background.

He has successfully completed the German-French law programme at the University of Cologne and the Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, obtaining both the Maîtrise en Droit and the LL.B. as well as the German state law examination.

Tobias has been officially admitted as a lawyer at the Cologne Bar Association since October 2024. He speaks fluent German, French and English – ideal prerequisites for the international focus of his legal work.

During his legal clerkship, he gained valuable experience working for leading international law firms, including Linklaters and CMS Hasche Sigle, particularly in the area of international arbitration. He also worked at the German Embassy in Singapore, where he gained insights into international law and diplomatic practice.

Tobias represents both French and German clients in international disputes before state courts and arbitral tribunals. His focus is on advising on international contract law and on efficient dispute resolution in complex, cross-border cases.

Tobias is currently also a doctoral candidate in the field of international arbitration law, which underlines his steadily growing expertise in this area of specialisation and makes him a valued point of contact for international legal challenges.
