Qivive among the best business law firms in the area of distribution law

In the 1st edition 2025 of the Guide to Business Law & EU Affairs by the rating agency Décideurs, Qivive is recognised in the field of distribution law with head of department Jeanne Faymonville for its high-quality practice.
The ranking:
The guide to business law and EU affairs is aimed at legal departments, in particular lawyers and executives who deal with business law issues at the French and European level. It focuses on competition law (antitrust, merger control, follow-on) and distribution law (distribution and franchising). The market study is expanded to include European merger control, investment control, export control and influence strategies.
The method:
The rating agency provides an objective assessment of the best organisations in a given field. The rankings are divided into five levels – from ‘essential’ to ‘high-quality practice’. The research process takes four months, three of which are spent collecting data and one analysing it.
The data sources are submission forms of the firms (detailed performance records for the last 12 months, including sales development, customer structure and team composition), peer feedback (assessments by industry colleagues to evaluate market presence and reputation) and independent expert opinions (assessments by consultants, financial experts and other external experts for a neutral market assessment).
The following serve as assessment criteria:
- Nature, complexity, size, volume, innovativeness and quality of matters handled
- Reputation and recognition of the firm in the industry (clients, third parties, peers)
- Team structure, growth and diversity
- Diversity, internationalization and prestige of the firm's client base
This independent and multidisciplinary approach ensures transparency, credibility and a reliable market evaluation.
