Grew up in the Ruhr Valley in Germany and has always been a Francophile. This passion and a number of visits to France led to early close friendships with the French. After my studies I was responsible for the German-French study programme at the universities of Bochum and Tours and worked closely with our French partners and students. My practical training focused on German-French relations, with particular emphasis on German labour and company law.

Career

  • 2011 - 2014 Study of national and European business law at Ruhr-Universität Bochum and at Université François-Rabelais in Tours
  • 2014 - 2017 Study of law in Bochum
  • 2014 - 2017 Research assistant and tutor at the Chair for Public Law, especially European Law, International Law and International Business Law at Ruhr-Universität Bochum
  • 2017 - 2019 Professional training at Bochum District and Regional Court, the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in Paris and the law firm Epp & Kühl in Cologne and Paris
  • 2019 Admitted to the German Bar as a Rechtsanwalt (German attorney) and joined law firm Qivive (then Epp & Kühl)
  • Since 2023 Specialist lawyer for labor law
